Note by CEO
Gone are the days when a CEO used to sit in the comfort of his room wherein he has each and every luxury and his employees are sitting at their respective seats without having any kind of interaction with the upper management resulting in frustration amongst the employees.
I personally feel out of the 3M's of management, each has its own importance and this is what Chief Executive Officer (CEO) needs to take care of but their is another thing that is to be taken care by him and i.e. constantly work at increasing our store of knowledge. Knowledge is a highly perishable commodity. It becomes obsolete quickly and unlike other products, its value increases as more people use it. Knowing this, it makes good sense to share with other what we know, and help them use it in a relevant way.
From the organizational perspective, the sharing of knowledge is to be set in place. At Very [D] we give our team a platform with Very [D] Forum for them to make strong move in this direction. Many more initiatives are still needed for making them more informed of the fast and changing world, such a discipline would ultimately benefit us to grow.
